Description

Food Service Worker at Mount St. Vincent

Schedule: Part Time, Evening Shift from 10:30am – 7pm or 3pm – 7pm

Job description:

This position is responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals/floor stock/nourishment/food preferences. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipes and plating guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating product for maximum quality. Interacts with other employees in a friendly and courteous manner. Acts as an effective customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments

Required Qualifications:

  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire
  • 6 months experience working in a dining services environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months Customer Service experience

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
